The other way to activate tracking is by send-
ing Locator a ?TRC (simple tracking request
with interval in minutes), ?TRS (simple track-
ing request with interval in seconds), or ?TRG
(complex tracking request) message from a
mobile phone or a back-end system support-
ing MPTP protocol.

Simple tracking request, interval in minutes
The format of the request is:
?TRC_Interval_Number of reports.

Interval
: Time interval for position
updates. A value between 1 and
65535 (minutes).

Number of reports
: Total number of
position updates. A value between 1
and 65535.
Example of a message: ?TRC_10_20

The format of the request is:

65535 (seconds).

The format of the request is: ?TRG_Trigger

Trigger type
: Defines tracking type.
Choose 0 to activate area tracking.

Service state
: Defines whether service
is on or not. Choose 1 to activate and
0 to deactivate the service.

Radius
: Defines radius for the tracked
area. A value between 1 and 9999
(metres).

Method
: Defines when tracking
updates are sent by Locator. Choose 0
if you want to receive tracking
updates while Locator stays outside
the defined area. If you wish Locator
to alert you when the device leaves
the defined area, choose 3.
